Incorrectly calculated my home mortgage interest on 2007 Tax returns?

Hello,

When I filed my taxes for the year 2007, I incorrectly entered $2,000 as house mortgage interest withheld for the year while I have actually paid close to 20,000. I filed it electronically.
Can this be amended immediately or do I have to wait until after April 15 the 2008 to file the amendment? Please help.

Thank you in advance for your answers

An amended return form 1040x you didnt get refund if your original showed refund if you do not have to especially if your original showed refund then file.
An amended return you want to wait until april 15th.
The amended tax return you do not have to wait until april 15th.
